SLDR - Registration

Participants:

The winter school will be open for anyone who is interested in Saami languages, language documentation and revitalization. Even students specializing in other minority languages of Northern Europe are invited to participate. We hope to attract students who are new to language documentation as well as scholars or language activists who are already engaged in documentation and revitalization efforts. Advanced students from the Saami communities will be particularly encouraged to apply.

The course language is English. There are a maximum of 30 places available on the course

How to register:

The Winter School is free of charge. Cheap accomodation is offered in shared double rooms for 150 EUR per person (for details see Travel & accomodation). Furthermore, a limited number of grants is available who are covering travel and/or accomodation costs (for details see Grants)

Your registration must include:

-Full name and affiliation (if any)
-Address, Email address, Telephone number
-A brief statement of your background in General linguistics, Saami studies or community language work (names of courses attended, name of university/training institution, experience with practical language work, etc.), details of any planned field or community work on Saami or other language(s)
-Please state whether you require accomodation (for details see Travel & accomodation)
-Please indicate if you are a member of SaamiDocNet
